The short version
We do not collect anything. We cannot see your data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDK.
What the app stores
The app records what you enter: your children's first names and optional birthdays, bowel movements and their characteristics, toilet visits, accidents, medication doses, notes, and any photos you attach.
Where it is stored
On your device, and — if you are signed in to iCloud — in your own private iCloud database. That database belongs to your Apple account. It is not a server we operate and we have no ability to read it, nor does Handlebar Enterprises receive a copy.
If you use the sharing feature to share with another parent, those records become visible to the person you invite, and to nobody else. You can stop sharing at any time from within the app.
Photos
Photos you attach are taken with the camera from inside the app and stored with your other entries. The app does not request access to your photo library. They are never written to your camera roll.
What leaves your device
Nothing goes to us. Data syncs between your own devices, and to anyone you explicitly invite, through Apple's iCloud. That traffic is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.
Children
The app holds information about children, entered by their parent or guardian. It is intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect anything from children, because we do not collect anything from anyone.
Deleting your data
Deleting a child in the app removes their entries. Deleting the app removes the local copy; to remove the iCloud copy, use Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage on your device.
